Real Roofing for Real People
Would you buy a car from a salesperson that hates driving? How about getting dressed up and go out to a fancy restaurant and have a chef cook you up some grub, only to find out the chef hates food? That would be a meal that gets bigger in your mouth the more you chew. This same adage goes towards the construction industry. If you want a good roof over your head, you contract the guy who has a passion for roofing. He would be the person who would not skimp on shingle nails, roofing materials and time. You want the fella that stands back and reviews his work like an artist painting a canvas. If that’s the roofing man you want, then you call Daryl Marshall of Triple J Roofing.
Daryl has nearly 18 years experience in the roofing industry, with many of those learning the trade on the west coast “where the real roofing is done,” says Daryl. “In B.C. they have high winds and heavy downpour. The roofing standards in that province reflect the special weather conditions experienced.” Although Daryl lived in Dauphin, Manitoba at that time, he would drive to the west coast of British Columbia and work the winters there to learn how “pure quality roofing” was done. He now employs those
standards and techniques in roofs here in Alberta.
Daryl and Michelle Marshall moved to Millet a little over 18 months ago and have very recently opened a storefront shop on mainstreet Millet in the same building as the Butterfly Boutique. “I worked for sometime in Edmonton with Great Canadian Roofing as a subcontractor. Barry Rinas, the project manager, took it upon himself to connect me with the builders in the region,” says Daryl. “He basically ‘set me up’ in business.”
“I still provide service to Great Canadian Roofing,” said Daryl. When Daryl talks about roofing and the products of roofing, he gets excited when he explains the quality differences in the materials as well as the colours the manufacturers are coming out with. “I can’t wait to roof a house with these!” Daryl explains, when pointing out a new line of blue shingles.
Michelle and Daryl are quick to point out that their staff are also very good at their jobs. “Sheldon is my main man!” says Daryl. “He is as thorough and fast as I am! He has been with me for some time now.” Of course Triple J Roofing also benefits from great relationships in the industry. “The staff at Convoy Supply Ltd., are a great bunch, from Mike Lanteigne, Dale Chappel, Derek Kirkley and Gord Bradley and right down through the delivery guys,” says Daryl. “They provide a great service that we and our customers benefit from.” Originally Triple J Roofing started business in Millet out of their homes like many cottage industries. Today, with the opening of their store front, they can provide quick access for roofing quotes, from standard shingles to metal and laminates. Triple J Roofing also provides a Bobcat service, snow removal and concrete pads and driveways.
“We owe a big thank you to all our current and past customers,” says Daryl. “Without them, Michelle and I would not be where we are today!” Triple J Roofing is located 4912 – 50 Street, Millet. They can be reached at 780.387.0203
Keeping You Covered
With spring around the corner comes the time for inspection and maintenance assessment of buildings in order to keep all structures sound and secure. Alberta winters and the changing seasons can put our building structures at risk of air and water leaks and general deterioration. Triple J Roofing is a dynamic full-service business centrally located in Millet. A family business, Daryl and Michelle Marshall of Triple J Roofing have been serving the central Alberta community since 1991 building a reputation that has resulted in continual business growth ever since.
Building maintenance, whether home, shop, barn, or business outlet, is a priority for keeping a structure stable, heat-efficient, and resistant to damage from the elements. Windows, for example, subject to extreme temperature differences, must also withstand high winds, humidity, and ultraviolet light. If environmental conditions are allowed to take their toll on windows, eventually sealants lose flexibility, components corrode, and insects are able to bore into the wood causing more damage. For most of the same reasons, maintaining or replacing siding is important to the structural integrity of the building, and can transform the appearance and durability of your building.
Triple J is a Shingle Master Company, offering a wide range of services including five-inch continuous eaves troughing, siding, soffit, fascia, custom metal bending and capping windows and doors. As Certified Quality Master Installers, Triple J Roofing brings experience and expertise to each and every work project. Triple J also offers a variety of product upgrades as well as additional extended warranties.
Covering commercial, residential, and farming industries, Triple J Roofing services a good portion of central Alberta, including Breton, Alder Flats, Ma-Me-O Beach & area, Camrose, Bawlf, Wetaskiwin, New Norway and many more. A well-known highly-regarded company within the community, Triple J Roofing is a member of the Chambers of Commerce in both Leduc and Millet.
